Introduced in 2022, the SPB297J1 is part of Seiko’s Prospex “Glacier” Save The Ocean series, a tribute to Seiko’s first professional diver, the 1965 62MAS. That watch accompanied early Antarctic explorers, becoming a cornerstone of Seiko’s dive heritage. The SPB297J1 carries that legacy forward, with modern upgrades and a glacier-inspired dial that reflects both Seiko’s polar history and its ongoing support for ocean conservation efforts through its Save The Ocean initiative.
